POPULATION DATA
    Census data from the U.S. Census Bureau is important for local governments, businesses and planners. Santee-Lynches receives detailed census data. Information can be used in developing grant applications or in documenting the changes occurring in counties and municipalities.

    The South Carolina Budget and Control Board’s Office of Research and Statistics also provides summaries of information for counties and municipalities from the census data. This data can be accessed from http://abstract.sc.gov
