Santee-Lynches is currently developing its 2045 long-term transportation plan, FORWARD 2045, which will be used to identify and prioritize transportation investments throughout the region. Santee-Lynches works with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and other transportation stakeholders to conduct transportation planning for the region. This planning is consolidated into a Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which identifies needs and prioritized projects by category across the four-county region.

Additionally, Santee-Lynches provides ongoing planning and technical assistance to the units of local government in the region.
