Environmental Planning

We develop planning products to support a number of natural environment topics including water quality and green infrastructure.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) has designated Santee-Lynches as the region’s water quality management planning agency. We work with DHEC, municipal and county utility providers, and other interested parties to develop and maintain a Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP), which identifies policy priorities and recommendations for water quality across the four-county region.
